Como ya sabeis anoche se celebró en Los Angeles la gala anual de los Teen Choice Awards, el festival en el que los más jovenes votan por sus actores, actrices, series o películas favoritas. En esta edición Prison Break contaba con dos nominados: Wentworth Miller y Robert Knepper, aunque finlamente ninguno de los dos se llevo la tabla de surf que les acreditaría como mejor actor dramático y mejor villano respectivamente.
Estos fueron los galardonados en las distintas categorías:
- MEJOR DRAMA: Anatomía de Grey. Estaban nominados, además, Heroes, Hous
e, Lost y Kyle XY.
- MEJOR COMEDIA: Hannah Montana. Nominados: Mujeres
desesperadas, Entourage, The Office y Ugly Betty.
- MEJOR SERIE NUEVA: Heroes. Nominados:Friday Night Lights, Ugly Betty, October Road y South of Nowhere.
- MEJOR SERIE DE ANIMACIÓN: Los Simpson. Nominados: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Padre de familia, Lil’ Bush y South Park.
- MEJOR ACTOR/ACTRIZ REVELACIÓN: America Ferrera (Betty, Ugly Betty). Nominados: Matt Dallas (Kyle, Kyle XY), Taylor Kitsch (Tim, Friday Night Lights), Hayden Panettiere (Claire, Heroes), Masi Oka (Hiro, Heroes).
- MEJOR ACTOR DE DRAMA: Hugh Laurie (House, House). Nominados: Jared Padalecki (Sam, Sobrenatural), Matthew Fox (Jack, Lost), Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli, Heroes) y Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield, Prison Break).
- MEJOR ACTRIZ DE DRAMA: Hayden Panettiere (Claire, Heroes). Nominadas: Emily Deschanel (Brennan, Bones), Evangeline Lilly (Kate, Lost), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Melinda, Entre fantasmas) y Katherine Heigl (Izzie, Anatomía de Grey).
- MEJOR ACTOR DE COMEDIA: Steve Carell (Michael, The Office). Nominados: Adrian Grenier (Vincent, Entourage), Charlie Sheen (Charlie, Dos hombres y medio), David Spade (Russell, Rules of Engagement) y Neil Patrick Harris (Barney, Como conocí a vuestra madre).
- MEJOR ACTRIZ DE COMEDIA: Miley Cyrus (Hannah, Hannah Montana). Nominadas: America Ferrera (Betty, Ugly Betty), Eva Longoria (Gabrielle, Mujeres desesperadas), Tia D. Mowry (Melanie, The Game) y Emma Roberts (Addie, Unfabulous).
- MEJOR COMPAÑERO: Allison Mack (Chloe, Smallville). Nominados: Donald Faison (Turk, Scrubs), Jorge Garcia (Hurley, Lost), Kevin Dillon (Johnny, Entourage) y Jerry Ferrara (Turtle, Entourage).
- MEJOR VILLANO: Vanessa Williams (Wilhelmina, Ugly Betty). Nominados: Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus, Lost), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex, Smallville), Zachary Quinto (Sylar, Heroes) y Robert
Knepper (T-Bag, Prison Break).
- MEJOR PERSONALIDAD: Tyra Banks (America’s Next Top Model). Nominados: Ryan Seacrest (American Idol), Simon Cowell (American Idol), Bruno Tonioli (Dancing with the Stars) y Nick Cannon (Wild ‘N Out).
